The service

StumbleU is a web discovery tool that surfaces interesting pages from a curated corpus. It is available as a browser extension and a web app. By installing the extension or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Accounts

You may use StumbleU as a guest (no account required, subject to guest limits). To sync your data across devices or access higher limits, you need a free account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in fraudulent activity.

Plans and limits

Guest. Limited stumbles and no Think access per day. Resets at midnight.

Free. Signed-in users receive a higher daily stumble allowance and limited Think usage.

Acceptable use

You may use StumbleU for personal, non-commercial discovery. You may not:

Submitted content

When you suggest a URL via the "Suggest a site" feature, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to review, index, and serve that page as part of the StumbleU corpus if approved. You must not submit URLs to content you do not have the right to share.

Intellectual property

The StumbleU name, logo, UI, and corpus curation are our intellectual property. The pages served by StumbleU belong to their respective authors and publishers — we link to them, we do not host or reproduce them.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Where practical, we will give advance notice of significant changes.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

StumbleU is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any page in the corpus.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of StumbleU is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use data. It forms part of these terms.

Refunds

Our Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds are granted for Pro subscriptions and token top-ups.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "last updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
